vitalEsafe Privacy Policy

E-mail Privacy - When an account is set up, the customer is asked for their e-mail address. This is used as the Username for the account and is the only method that vitalEsafe has to communicate with a customer. vitalEsafe WILL NOT rent, sell, or otherwise distribute e-mails of our customers to outside parties and will only disclose to authorities as required in order to comply with law.

No Data Mining - All customer data is encrypted while in transit and while stored plus each account or "safe" has a unique encryption/decryption key. This security method insures that there will be no "mining" of any data stored with vitalEsafe.  vitalEsafe intends on maintaining the highest security level possible for our customers’ information.

Customer Information - vitalEsafe does not rent, sell or exchange information about its customers with any outside parties. vitalEsafe gathers only the customer information that is needed to administer its business and to provide information to customers that vitalEsafe believes might be of interest. vitalEsafe limits access to customer information to its employees on a need-to-know basis. vitalEsafe educates its employees about vitalEsafe policies and practices in regard to safeguarding customer information; preventing its unauthorized access, use or disclosure; and ensuring its proper handling.

Cookies -   When a Customer logs into a vitalEsafe account, a randomly generated session ID is stored as a "cookie" in your browser. This cookie authenticates you for the remainder of your vitalEsafe session. The session will stay active until you either logout or after 15 minutes of inactivity (at which time you will automatically be logged out by the system).  Any information stored in the session cookie is safe because we are using SSL and it is destroyed when you close the browser.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy - vitalEsafe is committed to protecting your privacy and we will continue to look for new ways to do so.  At the bottom of this page you will see the date of last change to our privacy policy. Continued use of the vitalEsafe service indicates your agreement with our privacy policy.
