Getting Started

Ok - You've opened an account because of the piles of paper, photographs, CDs, videotapes and not to mention the computer that you always mean to backup.  What's a good way to get started?

First, make sure that you feel comfortable logging in and navigating in your safe. (It is sinfully easy!) Take a look at our user guides and videos if you need some guidance.

Next - You may not be too sure about what you want to store online, maybe even have some doubts about security? At a minimum, why don't you open our "Essential Personal Document Locator" and either fill it out online or print it out and fill it in manually. You can practice upoading this document into your safe, maybe share it with a relative or advisor, and also make decisions about which documents you feel are truly essential.

Hint: If you can fill out the essential personal document locator online and save as a pdf you can upload the file to your safe without  having to scan and save.
