vitalEsafe provides you the capability to backup your data with a variety of methods. The method you choose will depend on the amount of data you are storing, the type of data, whether or not you need multiple backups copies, how often the data changes, etc.

If you have a number of files that need to be stored and rarely change, you may choose to upload these items into your vitalEsafe and then utilize one of many available synchronization programs which only uploads new files or files that have changed since the last backup.

Files including accounting data may need to have multiple copies so that you can "roll back" to a certain date and vitalEsafe provides you the ability to make these copies.

One of the problems resulting when a system has to be restored is that the data and the programs both have to be recovered which can result in a labor intensive task which may be made more difficult if the data is to be restored onto a different machine.  You can also make an exact "image" copy of your data and programs and store in your vitalEsafe.  Then you will only upload data changes and with this image copy plus changes be able to quickly restore your entire machine if there is a catastrophic failure.
